In eastern Congo, the recent fall of Goma to M23 rebels has plunged the region into deeper turmoil, worsening what was already one of the world’s largest displacement crises. But for hundreds of women raising children fathered—and then abandoned—by UN peacekeepers, the collapse of security has made survival even harder.
